Today, I take a bow, to celebrate not just the teachers who stood in front of a classroom, but every person who has been a teacher in my journey of life.
From my parents and grandparents who gave me my first lessons, to my professors who shaped my curiosity, to my mentors at work, my friends in Toastmasters, my colleagues, priests, and even life itself. I’ve had teachers in every form, at every milestone.
To my dear friends and colleagues who are teachers, mentors, or simply those who light a spark in others, know that your influence ripples far beyond what you see. You’re not just teaching, you’re transforming lives, silently leaving footprints in the stories of others. As I look back, I realize that every bit of wisdom, correction, encouragement, or even challenge has played its role in shaping me. For that, I remain deeply grateful.
So today, I celebrate all of you, the teachers of my life. May we never stop learning, and may we all keep teaching, even in the smallest of ways.
