Today, I take a pause… not to celebrate something, but to acknowledge something I didn’t do.
For over four months, this space remained untouched. No new thoughts, no new reflections, no new stories. Just silence. And when I opened my website recently, it wasn’t just the absence of posts that stood out… it was the absence of me in it. In these past months, life hasn’t been still. In fact, the first quarter of 2026 has been intense, demanding, and at times, exhausting. There were moments of growth, moments of pressure, moments where everything moved so fast that I simply chose to keep going without stopping. And somewhere in that continuous motion, I stopped writing.
Not because I had nothing to say, but because I didn’t make the time to say it. There’s a certain responsibility that comes with sharing, even if it’s with a small group of readers. Because I know that in some way, some of these words have helped, guided, or simply connected with someone out there. And realizing that I let that consistency slip… brings a quiet sense of guilt that I can’t ignore.
But more than that, I realize what writing does for me. It helps me pause, reflect, and understand my own journey better. It’s not just about putting words out there, it’s about staying connected with myself. So today, I acknowledge this gap, not with excuses, but with intent. Moving forward, I commit to showing up here again. To write, to reflect, and to share, at least twice a week. Not perfectly, not elaborately, but honestly and consistently.
Because this space matters. Not just to those who read it, but to the person I become when I keep writing.
